Ways to Shop

In Store Sales: 

Special Orders: We are happy to place special orders in person, over the phone, or via email for pick up at our stores.  Typically special orders take 3-5 business days to arrive (some come faster and some come slower depending on where they are available). When your order arrives, we will notify you so you can pick it up at the store.  We are not set up yet to handle direct to home shipping but you can ship directly to a home through our Bookshop page. 

Holds: Customers can call or email us to see if we have a book. If requested we will hold that book at our register under the customers last name. We can keep books on hold for 48 hours. 

Bulk Sales: Need to order multiple copies of the same book, for your office, a school, wedding, book club, as gifts, event etc...?  We offer a discount for bulk sales that will not be used for resale. For specifics please email info@snugbooks.com with details of your request. 

FAQs:

Third Party Retail Partners, Bonfire, Bookshop.org, and Libro FM:  Snug Books partners with these companies to offer additional services and alternative book formats and we receive a percentage of sales.  These services directly support indie bookstores and offer a great alternative to ordering from Amazon and Audible and other large chains! (Please note that gift cards purchased through these 3rd party services do not transfer to in store purchasing and items purchased online can not be returned in the store).

Book Donations: We are not currently accepting book donations, but the Maryland Book Bank does, here is a link to their book donation page https://www.mdbookbank.org/bookdonations 

Used Books: Our store does not currently sell used books or have a book buy back program.

My Must Reads for Audio & E Books: They have recently ended their partnerships with indie bookstores and we no longer work with them.

Returns and Exchange Policy: 

For in store purchases only. Third party retail partners listed above have their own return policies.

Customer must have a receipt or a customer account associated with the purchase. New Books/ Items can be returned if they are still in new condition within seven (7) days of purchase. New Books/ Items can be exchanged if they are still in new condition within (30) days of purchase. Christmas/Holiday purchases will be exchangeable until January 31st.  Food purchases are not eligible for returns or exchanges. Books/ Items that were purchased at a discount are not eligible for returns or exchanges. This policy is subject to change.
